On Sansom, it's kind of has a brutalist-lite vibe. I concur though, the addition is atrocious.////"They put an addition on the back of the building that looks like my nutsack. It really does look as boring as ever." For the record, my nutsack is not boring. Just sayin.Georgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16981602970915386522noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6902904430597840815.post-22903201701386843222012-02-10T07:35:37.769-05:002012-02-10T07:35:37.769-05:00I remember the hopeless days during Wilson Goode&#...I remember the hopeless days during Wilson Goode's 2nd term and the city looked like the city was really going down the shitter for reals.

This particular, then empty, building seemed so hopeless. Who would ever occupy this butt ugly building? It was too big, too modern, and too far from the heart of business core to knock down for something else. It seemed destined to be empty forever.

Then came on Soifatel. Their redo of the facade, while not a beauty, is a big improvement. The addition is puzzling though. They could have really done anything with it, such as something good, instead they pretty much made it identical to the original turd.Scoatshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02551058895930966973noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6902904430597840815.post-63042261390036925482012-02-09T10:00:05.341-05:002012-02-09T10:00:05.341-05:00I actually like this building.
